Neighborhood Gardening Series: Part 2
Join us for a presentation from Pollinator Partnership on how to use native plants to assist in stormwater runoff.
Our region's land use is shifting to fit a growing population, and your watershed's need for deep rooted native plants and riparian buffers that absorb stormwater, stabilize banks, and treat pollution is becoming more essential. These practices also provide native pollinator habitats and a host of other environmental benefits. Join us for a conversation about gardens and landscaping, stormwater, and how you can help your downstream neighbors while also adding beauty and life to your outdoor spaces through pollinator habitats via rain gardens, wildflower gardens, vegetated swales, and other green infrastructure.
