Join us for this month's Upcycled Creations!
September: Upcycled Birdhouses and Birdfeeders
This month we'll be upcycling a variety of discarded items to create Upcycled Birdhouses and Birdfeeders! The group will explore a variety of creative examples and will upcycle discarded containers and household items into one-of-a-kind birdhouses or birdfeeders. Participants should bring interesting (and hopefully free!) items to upcycle: containers, plastic beverage bottles, wood scraps, dishes, clean food cans, old license plates...let your imagination be your inspiration! We'll provide space, instruction, and some additional supplies to make it happen!

BPL Makerspace
Upcycled Creations is a monthly class where we learn about upcycling, reusing, mending, community resourcing, and other sustainable crafting practices.
Each project uses items that might otherwise be sent to the landfill, along with additional supplies and equipment in the Makerspace, to create attractive, useful, and meaningful crafting experiences. Join us every fourth Wednesday at 1:00 pm! Bring a friend and meet some new ones who also want to give new life to "unwanted" items.
Registration is required! This class is for 18+ only.
