Makers ShowcaseCome learn about the lives and works of classical composers. This event is for all ages. No registration required.
Join Ms. Amelia in learning about the life and history of famous composers. This event will focus on what makes music “spooky sounding.” We will listen to and discuss compositions like Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor” featured in movies like Dracula, video games like Mortal Combat, and others, and Saint-Sans “Danse Macabre.” We'll also be joined by a wonderful group of local high-school students who will perform selected works.
