Practice your reading-aloud skills with a non-judgmental audience - a dog!

Children of all ages are invited to come meet and read to Poe, a Newfoundland and member of BPL's visiting therapy dog team. Poe is a member of Love on a Leash. He will be accompanied by his owner, Mr. Larry.

Reading to a dog helps children develop their skills and confidence in a stress-free environment. It's also a lot of fun!

Bentonville Public Library is a department of the City of Bentonville. Bentonville Public Library is located just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square, at 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Facility amenities include adult collection, children's and teen spaces, private study rooms, event spaces, makerspace and digital lab, genealogy research center, sensory and wellness room, business centers, book club lounge, and café.
