Join Downtown Bentonville, Inc. as they celebrate the close of their outdoor chess season with Chess Fest, Bentonville's biggest chess event yet- hosted in partnership with the Bentonville Public Library!

This free, community celebration is open to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, there's something for everyone. Enjoy:

  • A Swiss-style tournament
  • Chess 101 lessons for beginners and new players
  • Casual games and friendly matches
  • Crafts, puzzles, and family fun
  • Explore the library and resources that helped laser cut and 3D print a few chess sets

Bentonville Public Library is a department of the City of Bentonville. Bentonville Public Library is located just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square, at 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Facility amenities include adult collection, children's and teen spaces, private study rooms, event spaces, makerspace and digital lab, genealogy research center, sensory and wellness room, business centers, book club lounge, and café.
