Join the Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation for an afternoon of Bharatanatyam; an Indian classical dance form that originated in Tamil, Nadu. It is one of eight Indian classical dance forms recognized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi and expresses South Indian religious themes and spiritual ideas, particularly of Shaivism and in general of Hinduism.
Due to limited capacity in the Library’s Walmart Community Room, a free ticket is required for each person attending. Tickets can be picked up at the BPL Children’s Desk beginning at 9AM the day of the event on a first-come, first-serve basis. All attendees must be present to pick up tickets.
