Students in 7th - 12th grades are invited to be part of our Tiny Art Show! Register for a free canvas, paint it at home, then bring it back to the library to be displayed throughout the month of April. The Tiny Art Show is part of Bentonville's 150th anniversary celebration. Artwork should reflect the theme "Celebrating Bentonville."
Please note: Due to high demand, canvases not picked up before Monday, March 13th will be offered to patrons on the waiting list.
Full Details:
1. Create a piece of art using the medium of your choice (paint, color pencils, etc.). If you use paint, please ensure that it is completely dry before returning it to the library.
2. NEW! The artwork should reflect the theme "Celebrating Bentonville."
3. Please do not use any canvas other than the one provided. Do not frame your canvas.
4. If it is unclear, draw an arrow on the back of the canvas indicating the correct orientation (i.e. This side up).
5. Bring your finished artwork to the library by March 31st.
6. Art will be on display from April 3rd -29th. If you wish to keep your artwork after the art show, please pick it up by May 6th.
7. By submitting your art, you are giving Bentonville Public Library permission to publicly display, photograph and promote it.
Bentonville Public Library is located just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square, at 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville, Arkansas.
