All About Thinking Money for Kids:
What is it? A traveling museum-quality exhibition for grades 1 - 6. Through a community-market-themed storyline, digital interactive content and other hands-on activities, the exhibition explores topics like earning, saving and spending money as well as making responsible financial decisions.
Why is it here? Thinking Money for Kids is an exhibition traveling to 50 U.S. public libraries between 2019 and 2022. Bentonville Public Library was chosen during the application process to house the exhibit for 6 weeks.
What can you expect? The Library will host the traveling exhibit in the Walmart Community Room, which kids can visit during open hours. Throughout the 6 weeks we have the exhibit, the Library will provide numerous programs geared towards money and finance for kids in grades 1 - 6.
Thinking Money for Kids was developed by the American Library Association Public Programs Office in collaboration with the FINRA Investor Education Foundation, whose support made this exhibition possible.
