Come create a traditional Mexican "alebrije," a magical and mythological painted animal figurine based on native folklore.

Come craft with us for Hispanic Heritage Month! 

We will create "alebrijes," which are whimsical and colorful animal figurines similar to the character Pepita in the movie Coco.  Alebrijes are a traditional Mexican craft carved from wood and painted in bright colors and interesting patterns.  

**Please note: This is an ADULTS ONLY event (18+).

Bentonville Public Library is a department of the City of Bentonville. Bentonville Public Library is located just 3 blocks south of the Downtown Square, at 405 S. Main Street in Bentonville, Arkansas. Facility amenities include adult collection, children's and teen spaces, private study rooms, event spaces, makerspace and digital lab, genealogy research center, sensory and wellness room, business centers, book club lounge, and café.
