Topic: Making Medical Decisions Together
In the first event of the Navigating the Golden Years Series, we will discuss the importance of the patient and caretaker making medical decisions together in the interest of overall health and wellbeing. Dr. Harry Lazarte, will discuss the process with attendees.
About our Presenter:
32 years ago, Dr. Harry Lazarte, an immigrant from South America, moved to the United States from Bolivia. He learned English, attended college and earned a medical degree from Creighton University in early 2000. He worked in hospital leadership roles before he left to establish the business with his sons, Andres and Thomas Lazarte. As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Harry Lazarte spent most of his hospital career working as a hospitalist, including his time at Mercy in Rogers about 12 years ago.
