Join us for an interactive seminar on how to identify patterns of emotional abuse and create empowering environments where everyone can flourish.
During this interactive seminar, Carie Morelock will teach participants about different forms of emotional abuse, including shaming, invalidation, gas lighting, the silent treatment, sarcasm, manipulation and control. Participants will learn how to break the chains of generational psychological damage caused by emotional abuse.
Note: This seminar will include interactive role-playing scenarios.
Carie Morelock received her master's degree in Social Science from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is the founder of Blue Illumination: Live.Thrive.Illuminate, a cognitive and emotional holistic coaching organization. Her curriculum derives from cognitive science, self-regulation, and the psychology of motivation. She authored The Car of Life (2012), a rudimentary handbook for self regulation within the five components of the self. She privately coaches and teaches classes to teens and adults to help individuals connect the brain to their behavior in order to experience success and effective illumination throughout life. Her latest research involves finding and teaching tools and skills to help those with neurodivergent behaviors, and to educate and bring awareness to the psychological damage of emotional abuse. She recently moved from Denver, Colorado to NWA with her husband and their 3 kids. She is a homeschool mom, and she loves teaching her kids life skills, being outside with them, traveling, and experiencing new adventures.
