This virtual workshop is open to 7th - 12th grade participants and is hosted by Anish - a Teen Volunteer at BPL! Participants will learn the basics of HTML,CSS and Javascript and explore interactive exercises to put their new skills to the test.
Session #1: Thursday, November 4th, 5-6pm - Intro to HTML: Basics, Elements, Attributes, Headings, Paragraphs, Styles
Session #2: Tuesday, November 9th, 5-6pm - Lists, Classes, ID, IFrames (note, Session #2 will NOT meet on a Thursday, due to Veteran's Day on November 11th).
Session #3: Thursday, November 18th, 5-6pm - HTML Responsive, Forms, Media, Video, Audio, Plugins, APIs
- Thanksgiving Break: Thursday, November 25th -
Session #4: Thursday, December 2nd, 5-6pm - HTML/CSS, JavaScript Intro, JS Syntax, JS Comments
Session #5: Thursday, December 9th, 5-6pm - S Variables, Operators, Arithmetic, Conditions, Strings, String Methods, Numbers, Number methods, JS Loops, For, For in For, Of, While, Break, Sets
Session #6: Thursday, December 16th, 5-6pm - Final Project
