Club for creating animated films. For all patrons 12 and older.
Animation Club is a monthly club for artists learning to create self-made animated films. Attendees will have access to materials and equipment for traditional 2D, stop motion, digital 2D & 3D, and clay animation. Attendees are able to share their films with their peers and receive constructive critique/guidance in creating their films.
Club activities include creating films based on a prompt (i.e. favorite animals, dream vacation,) animation jams, contests, lessons and instruction, visits from industry professionals, and feedback sessions. Access to the BPL Makerspace is provided during club hours. To use the BPL Makerspace outside of club hours, Makerspace 101 is required.
