You'll learn how to dry herbs and peppers to extend the benefits of the garden, far outside of the growing season. About the Presenter: Valerie Goodrich is a homesteader with over 12 years of hands-on experience in the Ozarks, where she continues to manage her own homestead. With experience raising cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, gardens and more, she has a love for all things "Homesteading". Passionate about teaching, she founded The Homestead Helpdesk to offer personalized mentorship and guidance, helping beginners learn essential homesteading skills, avoid costly mistakes, and start their journey with confidence. Teaching is her favorite part of this work, as she loves empowering others to build sustainable, self-sufficient lives through practical and easy to understand advice.
