Adult Education Workshop
Confident Commuters is a free program that helps empower participants with the knowledge and confidence to commute by bike more often, possibly for the first time. The 1.5-hour session will cover the benefits of commuting by bike, both necessary and beneficial gear, planning a first commute, rules of the road, safety tips, and an introduction to additional resources. Participants will receive a goody bag with information and a few extras. The first 25 people to walk through the door will receive a set of bike lights provided by a grant from the Walmart Foundation. This program is presented by Bentonville Library Foundation in collaboration with Trailblazers and Bentonville Public Library. Registration is required.
